another root ready to bloom has been found in yann polewka. his opener is a filter laden, vocal drenched affair that holds the ever present rfb groove. all i dooo is next and holds that similar french filter style this one focusing on heavy strings and driving drums. the b side sees up ramp up a gear, luv me baby is looping and relentless. the piano and bass loop is short and repetitive but is constantly changing with filters vocals and interweaving percussion, this one works great on the dance floors. with b2 we see rfb take an unusual path for the label. all around is reminiscent of drum and bass almost liquid vibe with seductive vocals and ramped up tempo.

the brother s leeb are releasing their first limited, vinyl only e.p. on smile for a while. now, who are those guys? one of the bros - dj eb-clectic - helped building germany s hip hop scene during the late 1980s and 1990s in frankfurt / main, but also did some chicago house tunes with deskee and gene farris on force inc. in the 1990s, as well. this brother is a real keeper! the other bro - leander janik - is in his mid 20s and quite an avid home composer on his little roland synthie. he s a long term member of the s4aw crew, and has shared a studio with all the other guys. needless to say the brothers are hell of a dj duo, too...

uk producers sween and dawl deviate from their usual homebase of their own tone dropout label to deliver a solid 4 track ep on berlin based klasse wrecks. classic electro influences mix with breakbeat flavours to produce a fantastic and energetic collection of tracks. part sci-fi terror, part alien-invasion...all good!

the brilliantly beguiling r-zone series hits release number 20 with another genre defying four track ep by no one knows who. as always, the music looks backwards to go forwards and frantically blends breakbeat, rave, acid, house, electro and techno into wild new forms. the geometry of shadows kicks off with a flurry of pinging kick drums, rushing synths and smeared chords that manage to be physical yet serene at the same time. chrysalis is deep detroit style house with gurgling basslines and warm future soul synths extending off into the cosmos. ship of tears then races through the galaxies as asteroids, shooting sci-fi synths and glassy melodies all fly by in enchanting fashion, acid is buried deep within and the drum programming is busy and direct. the parliament of dreams closes things down with more haunting celestial pads and cold acid lines that are all backed by boom-bap breakbeats. its dance floor euphoria of the highest order once more.

t-coy s carino - an all-time uk acid house classic from 1987. fusing the industrial clicking and whirring of the uk s post-industrial landscape with the lush, melodic, balearic inspired piano lines of the white isle and sucking us all in in the process. a true masterpiece courtesy of mancunians mike pickering, simon topping and the late ritchie close who s combined projects included quando quango, m-people, annette, a certain ratio and more. it s truly hard to believe this record is 30 years old. it can easily stand shoulder to shoulder with anything being released today. the b-side regret is also an amazing, minimal slice of punk-funky 808 driven niceness. super stripped back and with an innocent charm and poppy vibe it is the perfect foil to the latino house chaos of carino on the other side. one could argue that the a-side will take you up, and the b-side will bring you down (in the best possible way!). this classic has been legally reissued by above board distribution in conjunction with the legal rights holders sony music entertainment. this high quality repress features original 1987 deconstruction records label artwork and has been remastered from sony s original sources by optimum mastering, bristol uk.

boris bunnik is no stranger in the world of electronic music. he released several albums and ep’s under a variety of monikers since 2007 on labels like delsin, shipwrec, frustrated funk and his own transcendent imprint. fauxpas musik welcomes him for a new project called severnaya.

a voice in the ether. a calm, clement drone. a gentle, pulsing throb. like the ghost of a forgotten future as imagined by the distant past, certain creatures sophomore lp nasadiya sukta is a study in timelessness - crystalline, heartfelt ambient music designed to push light through shadow. nasadiya sukta is the debut release on mysteries of the deep, a record label dedicated to total sensory immersion. mysteries (as its known colloquially and affectionately) launched in 2011 after a particularly fruitful late-night mixing session, first as a cult podcast series dedicated to narcotic music of all kinds, subsequently expanding into a series of seasonal events. now, with the release of nasadiya sukta, mysteries of the deep becomes a full-fledged outlet for music to play in the dark. certain creatures is the alias of brooklyn-based artist oliver chapoy, and nasadiya sukta was crafted especially for mysteries of the deep. its genesis came when grant aaron, mysteries proprietor, tapped chapoy to perform at mysteries halloween event in 2015. his performance was the nights axis point, bridging earlier subdued sounds with late-night upbeat moods. two years later, reworked and reconfigured, this performance is reborn as nasadiya sukta. although divided into six tracks, nasadiya coheres into a single extra-terrestrial mass, its beautiful understated elegance encouraging repeat listens. simultaneously harking back to ambient classics from the 90s (you know who they are) while cementing chapoy as a visionary artist with his own unique voice, nasadiya sukta is one for the space travellers indeed.

during all my years as an active musician in different constellations i have also worked continuously with my own material. a kind of unrestricted flow of creativity that has given birth to a lot of different expressions. so listening to this album is a journey through many phases in my life. v.v.v.v.v is an album with a sound world like a kaleidoscope of moods and melodies flowing between silky kraut pop and distorted synths. claesons takes on his debut album out experiments desire and lets his kraut background form the basis and tops with modern electronic sound

centrifuge ep is the debut vinyl release on new hardgroove techno german label called kickmasomaass. this label was especially created to bring high quality hardgroove and tribal techno music for the real djs and a new life to vinyl. centrifuge ep is the first part of two vinyls where you can find a original version from slovakian hardgroove techno dj and producer andy bsk and three remixes from g8, goncalo m and wyrus. untill the original version is characterized by a groovy bassline with smooth percusions and synths, the g8 remix goes a little higher and bring the entire track to another level with great progressive sounds of trance and techno with a little acid synths too. don t need to write too much about the remix from hardgroove icon goncalo m because all hardgroove fans know how great his music work is. only a couple of words: killer beat, killer bass, killer percussions, this track kills all clubs and partys. next remix is from hardgroove producer wyrus. his remix is based on a killer beat with heavy percussions and at the lenght with over seven minutes is this track great for mixing. centrifuge ep is for all people they love hardgroove techno and we from kickmasomeass label will bring you only the best from the best. hope you all will appreciate our work and will support our label in the future too. may the hardgroove techno be with you.
